The Terraces is the right place for either romance, adventure,
business or even a mix of any or all these.
Situated at an altitude of over 8,500 feet, The Terraces
occupies a prime location on the Chamba-Mussorie highway.
With summer temperatures ranging from 10-25 degrees Celsius,
and between 5 and 18 degrees in winters, the pleasant climate
and lush green natural environs of Kanatal offer a welcome
respite from the heat and dust-laden environs of crowded
cities and towns in the plains. The high point of the year
occurs between December and February, when visitors throng
this part of the country to experience the thrills of a
snow-white winter.

The
Terraces comprises 20 rooms and a suite, each of which offer
tourists the pleasant view of dazzling white snow-clad peaks.
Each of these well-equipped rooms has a tea/coffee maker,

One of the highlights of The Terraces is that its seemingly
remote location in the Garhwal Himalayas does not deprive
travelers and those enjoying their holidays of good, healthy
food. Our indoor multi-cuisine restaurant, serves
exceptionally lip-smacking tasty vegetarian and/or
non-vegetarian dishes. In deference to special dietary
requirements of strict vegetarians, there are entirely
separate sections in the kitchen for vegetarian and
non-vegetarian food. All meals are freshly prepared on site
keeping in mind the tastes and likings of the clients
A bar-be-cue and a treetop bonfire, overlapping a pond, are
other attractions at the resort.
