Places to Interest
Manu Temple is the only temple of Manu Maharaj in the world.
It is said to mark the spot where he first set foot on earth
from his celestial boat, after the world destroying flood.
Manali takes its name from Manu - alya or place of Manu.
Hadimba Temple - Harimba Devi was the Patron Goddess of
the old Kings of Kullu. She was a Rakshasi, the wife of Bhim
the Pandava, who became a Devi by her Tapasya. The temple is
600 years old and is in the middle of a Cedar Forest.
Vashisht Hot Spring - clinging to the mountains above
the Beas, is the old village of Vashisht, with hot sulfur
springs and temples.
